CVUC announced today that, following six months of repeated deliberation by the expert panel, the ‘FIVA Vehicle Certification Technical Specifications and FIVA ID Issuance Process’ has been successfully finalised. It is to be issued and implemented with immediate effect.

This document has been drawn up in accordance with the latest 2025 FIVA Technical Specifications and relevant FIVA ID management regulations issued by the FIVA Technical Committee, whilst taking into account the practical realities of operations in China. It serves as the normative document and legal basis for vehicle certification and FIVA ID applications in China.   

This document is a trial version, valid from 7 May 2026 to 6 May 2027. Upon expiry, adjustments will be made in light of issues arising during the trial period and the latest FIVA regulations.
