HAINAN OPEN INTERNATIONAL CLASSIC CARS, （referred to as HN-OPEN) has landed in Hainan on November 13-25, 2024 and settled in Sanya, known as the Oriental Hawaii. This is the first time that this international high-end classic cars high-end event to come to Hainan. Not only in Sanya and Hainan triggered a huge sensation, but also in China and even the broader region have triggered strong attention. Its sparkling blossom of classic elegance has become the new image card of Hainan and Sanya and fluttered around the world.

This HAINAN OPEN INTERNATIONAL CLASSIC CARS (HN-OPEN) is the first and only international high-end classic cars culture comprehensive event held in Hainan, China.It brings together a collection of classic cars from sixteen countries and regions around the world. With Sanya as its core, it circumnavigates the important cities and tourist labels of Hainan Island. It is the highest level and the largest scale classic cars culture event in the history of the world's East and China.

The event is guided by the FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE VEHICULES ANCIENS (referred to as FIVA), the only leader in the global classic cars industry, and the Sanya Municipal People's Government. The event takes Sanya as the landing city and center point. It is an important component of the Sanya International High-end Boutique Lifestyle Series. Its organizational form first in the form of tourist pull around the whole island of Hainan, and successively arrived in Changjiang, Haikou, Wenchang, Wanning and other important cities and counties. Eventually returned to Sanya and organized the international classic cars  show.

The event brought together 68 classic cars from 16 countries. Including Bugatti, Bentley, Rolls-Royce and other 28 brands of vintage cars to participate. The average age of the vehicles is 69.6 years old. The oldest is a 1926 Bugatti T37 GP, which is over 98 years old.

On November 15, the organizing committee held a grand official welcome ceremony at Sanya Happy Hour.

With the theme of Chinese style experience, all the guests were able to experience the powerful charm of Chinese culture.

On November 16th, all the participating vehicles held a grand city parade in the urban area of Sanya, led by the Sanya State Guest Special Police.

The parade fleet drove through Sanya main city community, Yalong Bay, Haitang Bay, more than 90 kilometers long.

On November 17th, the organizing committee held a grand departure ceremony in Sanya. All the participating vehicles gathered together and departed from Dadonghai Square one after another. The grand course of the event was opened. 

Ms. Yin Chengling, Vice Mayor of Sanya, led the leaders of many organizations in Sanya to attend the starting ceremony and commanded the start of the rally.

The event took five days to traverse the Hainan Rim, covering 1008.28 kilometers. It started from Sanya. Passed through Changjiang, Haikou, Wenchang, Wanning, and finally returned to Sanya. Fleet of vehicles to every place, all the people, all the people are happy. The People chasing, running around, all hope to see the elegance of the classic car.

On November 21st, the fleet returned to Sanya and held a grand closing ceremony in the square of Sinopharm Duty Free Mall.

The organizing committee also organized a grand closing dinner on the night of the ceremony.

November 22-24, the organizing committee in Sanya International Yacht Center held an international classic car show.

The event sparked a strong reaction throughout China and beyond, with citizens and tourists taking to the streets to record the rare spectacle with their cell phone cameras. Various social media outlets also praised the event.

The event played an important role in enlivening the atmosphere of Sanya's city life, presenting the image of Sanya as an international tourist city, and promoting the internationalization of Sanya. And it has achieved practical results. It has greatly increased Sanya's international popularity and attention, and will become a new business card for Sanya and Hainan.

This event is also another centralized display and promotion of FIVA in China. In all the activities, the organizing committee pays special attention to the establishment and promotion of FIVA's image. thus making FIVA more famous and well-known in China.

This event caused a great response in China, about millions of people witnessed it. More than 40 million people were aware of the event through the media. Over 100 million social media contacts were made. It has become one of the most popular events in China.
